I really enjoyed knitting this, even as a beginner it went very smoothly. I went up a needle size and a garment size as I knit very tightly (although it doesn’t feel that way to me!) and this was the only way to get a correct fit and fortunately it worked.
I skipped the tubular cast on as I was doing cable for the first time and thought there was already enough new things in this pattern to deal with. I didn’t enjoy picking up stitches for the sleeve, had to fix up holes at the end.
Second time using Lark yarn and I love it! The colour is exact in the top photo.
