6 Dec 2018: Changes thus far… did not use the purl round for folding the brim. Completed a total of 29 rounds of twisted ribbing (did 31, including the purl round, on Blizzard Warning).

2 Dec 2018: CO 90 stitches using crochet CO. This is my second time knitting this pattern. I will be using the same modifications that I used for Blizzard Warning, but this time, I am going to do brioche instead of k1/p1 rib. I am also going to try leaving out the p round for the brim fold… I think it will fold fine without the p round.

This is a proof-of-concept for me… I have two skeins of this colorway, so if I lose yarn chicken with one skein, I have another with which to finish the hat. I’m hoping that I can squeak it out with just one, though, because I want to make this hat using brioche and a single (different) skein of Malabrigo Worsted Merino as a gift for a friend. The Tuareg colorway would compliment her blue eyes so beautifully!
