J & C’s dad, (my SIL) is an odd mixture--born in NYC, of NYC parents, he spend much of his childhood in Georgia--and is a combo of city slicker, and good old boy. And, like many a southerner, he loves deviled eggs.

These hats are little deviled eggs with a swirly top, of yellow yolk, and a main body of white, with little red devil horns-- Most of these solids are discontinued (by Paton) , but there are many other brands of solid colored sock yarn that would be suitable..

Another 2 inches done--2 more and its a hat, then come the devilish horns.

These have been on hold as looked for some red yarn--but now yarn is hand--and they will soon be finished.

The horns got knit on March 26th (finally!) and now the hats are complete.
