A trio of bun covers for my ballerina. Her hair is fine and tough to keep in a bun and she loved this idea to keep in the required hairstyle. I made 3 different sized bun covers to give us some options - the smallest won’t hold her hair as is, it needs to be in a bun and then covered. I have yet to field test the other two.

I messed up the first one by failing to read the instructions well. I was supposed to do some DCs in the first two rounds and I did them all as SCs. I did the other two properly and do think it looks better that way.

All of them, I crocheted around a hair elastic for the last round. I cannot imagine her keeping a ribbon in her hair, so this is an easy way to keep the cover on her bun.
