I liked my fabric 2 needle sizes down even though it wasn’t stitch gauge. I’m knitting size 3 which is one size smaller than mine which should work out to a good amount of ease for me. I got row gauge so I made no other changes to the pattern sizing plan.

I wanted a cropped length for my top so I knit the back until section 2 was 10.25” and the front until section 2 was 5.25” - this means I removed 6.25” total from the length. I also raised the neckline 1.5” by knitting longer before I started the decreases. I wish I had knit the body an inch longer and am hoping that it will stretch out with wear. I have the fact that it is cotton on my side, but the log cabin construction seems more likely to hold it in place.
