This is a lovely pattern to add to the small shawl project list. I’m enjoying knitting it and learning something new at the same time.

The lace pattern has been translated but remains in the traditional “lace by music” language which is super easy to follow. I did make a notation on the side of what the X’s and O’s mean, but after the first repeat, I didn’t have to look at my notes (photo) and could follow the written instructions easily.

An example of the translation:
XO = k2tog, yo
OX OXO 7 = yo, k2tog, yo, k2tog, yo, k7

I’m loving learning this style of knitting lace.
Finished and love it! Plan on making another one soon.
