Cast these on a while back and they went in the wip basket. I grabbed them for car knitting on the way to Rhinebeck, NY for the NYS&W 2024 festival.

Initially, I had used up some left over merino yarn for the 2x2 cuff and the Kroy for the leg but the difference in yarn weight was noticeable and the cuff didn’t lay flat. After trying to “just go with it” I decided to tink it and cast on with just the Kroy to knit on the way home and am happy I did. Now on to the second sock…

I had forgotten how much I enjoy sock knitting and how quick I can knit them. One sock done in 3 days of evening knitting is a good feeling.
