Fits Starbucks Grande Cup. It’s a little too big (should have picked up a cup before I cast on, not after I bound off but this was a quick experiment, oh well), so next time I would skip the ribbed rows and some of the knit rows too, keeping in mind the number of rows needed on the pocket for the monogram chart. Used kwallevand’s project notes to make the pocket.

CO 32, divide onto 4 needles with 8 st. on each, join in round

Rows 1-4 - P2K2 all around
Row 5 - K all around
Row 6 - Increase row: Knit 4 st., M1, knit around to 3rd needle, knit 4 st., M1, knit remaining stitches
Row 7 and 8 - K all around
Row 9 - Knit 6 st., Purl “# of stitches in widest row of monogram chart PLUS 4 st.”, knit all around. For the “S”, the widest row is 9 st., therefore, purl 13 st. The extra 4 stitches are to create a 2-stitch border on either side of the monogram.
Row 10 - increase row as per row 6
Row 11-13 - Knit
Row 14 - Increase row
Rows 15-17 - Knit
Row 18 - Increase Row
Row 19-21 - Knit
Row 22 - Increase row
Row 23-25 - Knit
Row 26 - Increase row
Row 27-30 - knit
Row 31-34 - P2K2
Finish with jssbo

Pocket
-pick up purl bumps in row 9
-knit stockinette st. for 2 rows,
-then work K2, monogram chart, K2, using stranded colourwork (or intarsia if you want to get finickety about it),
-after chart rows work st. st. for 2 rows, and BO.
-sew up sides
