This is really an easy pattern. Once I got past the set up row it was really easy. It is really amazing how all the different patterns emerge from the same eight row repeat.

These would be nice little gifts for Christmas, anniversary, house warming or just for fun.

I think that knitting a test swatch of the yarn is important to see how much you need to felt your yarn to avoid over felting where you would lose you design.

This really only took about a week to knit and felt the four coasters, but we went on vacation and I left them pinned to my blocking board to dry until we came home,
