Cast on to knit while watching the 2018 Winter Olympics.

I’m going to modify the pattern by adding length in order to use all of the yarn. In order to achieve that, I did a provisional crochet cast on. Then, when I’d finished knitting the neck and sleeves I went back to pick up from the provisional cast on, did a few rows of seed stitch at the waist, continued downwards in stocking stitch, and then finished with some more rows of seed stitch to prevent the hem from rolling, and then cast off.

This is much more wearable than I thought it’d be, and I’m pleased with it.
