There’s a little magic spun in this sleeveless sweater; just ONE skein of La Bien Aimée’s Mohair silk in the Nadia colourway was used to make the entire sweater! I spent a while trying to find the right combination of fingering yarn to bring out the beauty of the pink, yellow and olive green specks in Aimée’s colourway; after three attempts I opted for a Madelinetosh sock yarn in Antler. I wanted to capture the magic of winter skies at dawn with soft patches of pinks.

The pattern is clear although I wasn’t always sure as to why the first stitch should be slipped or not at the start of the row. I struggled a little with the neck ribbing but that is no reflection on the clarity of the pattern.

I made the size small, a little longer and blocked it fairly agressively and it’s the perfect size for me! I’m 1m80

I will definitely be making another one in a brighter colour.
