Finally I’ve got a mini-me :)))

Now she just needs a hat for the IntNatCroMo Party.

For the wings, I traced an osmia wing from a google search on a transparent envelope window. Then I soaked short lengths of sewing thread in white glue overnight and laid them along the vein lines in the wing. Let dry for 24 hours. Cut along the outside …
… and the wing veins totally separated from the paper :(

I had been planning on the envelope window being the wing, but when it separated; the vein structure was solid, so I revamped my plan, laid the veins back down on a clean envelope window, painted them over with the white glue and let dry 48 hrs. Peeled them off, trimmed away excess glue and sewed them onto osmia :)

Legs and antennae are bent and cut bobby pins.
