Notes

Diana got a new phone that’s much bigger than her old phone, so she needed a new case. She picked out this gorgeous natural Jacob Sheep’s handspun that she only had about 50 yards of…perfect!

At first, I made a little slipcase with a sweater cuff (CO 32 sts, k2p2 for a few rows, knit the remaining rows, BO with a three-needle bind-off). That’s the first three pictures.

She thought the phone might slip out too easily, so I made a little flap with a button closure. (Pickup 16 sts along CO edge, knit seed stitch until you place where you want the button, make a one-row buttonhole, knit a couple more rows, reduce at each end a couple of times to round the corners of the flap, and bind off).
