I have started over half a dozen times at least, but decided to go rogue once again, just using this recipe as inspiration. I did 4 rounds of garter stitch in gray, changed to pink yarn, one knit round, 4 rounds of seed stitch. Change back to gray & 2 rounds of garter. Switch to pink again & did 8 rounds of SS before starting the thumb gusset.

I did one KFB, then did 2 rounds even between 2 stitch increases, up to 10 stitches for the thumb, plus one more round. BO thumb stitches, KFB on next round & did 3 more rounds of SS (total of 4 after thumb.) Then I did the cuff in reverse.
