Holding two yarns together, CO 45 stitches. Borders of 5 stitches, 1 x 1 rib each side, starting with P1 on row one. Broken rib on the middle stitches for every 6th row.

I decided color changes in the yarn might not translate well with this pattern, so the middle 35 stitches are SS with ribbing for the entire row on every 6th row.

4/2/25 - I got 29” done & decided I wasn’t going to be able to block out the way the edges folded under. Same edge as the other Down Home shawls I made, but I think the softness of this yarn contributed to the hinging. So, even though I really like how it looks & feels, I couldn’t stand the flip. Gonna frog…
