I want to make at least one more pair of mitts to match the hat & cowl.

CO 34 stitches in gray, broken rib, starting with the rib round, for 14 rounds. I decreased 4 stitches on the first round of purple yarn & knit 5 rounds before starting the gusset increases. I increased 2 stitches at a time, with 2 even rounds between the increase rounds, knit until I had 12 stitches for the thumb, then knit one more round. Next round, I bound off 9 stitches, keeping the last loop, plus adding a make 1 to get back to 30 stitches. I did 10 rounds after the thumb, then changed to the gray yarn & added 2 stitches on the first knit round of broken rib. I did 6 rounds before binding off.
