Well, I sure thought I could duplicate what I’d done before because I am using the same yarn. Nope. The other yarn was purchased in 2018 for $7.99, I just bought this same yarn today for $11.99. It is thicker & the colors brighter. I had to go up a needle size & CO fewer stitches.

I CO 10 stitches for the head & did the increases & decreases as directed per row/round. Increased up to 38 stitches before decreasing.

When I got to row 35 on the ears, I K1, K2tog, then did a 3 needle BO on the next round.

CO 86 stitches on larger needles for the body.

I CO 7 stitches for the paws, did 2 extra even rounds (4-14), stopped with row 14 & 14 stitches left, then did a 3 needle BO. I wish I had thought to finish the appendages with the 3 needle BO on the other two I made.

I used the yellow Pom Pom maker for the tail.
