After messing up knit one, slip one to DPN, I decided the best way to split the stitches for the keyhole was to hold two DPNs parallel to each other & slip one to front needle, next one to back needle. I increased to just 35 stitches for the scarf portion.

I didn’t do a keyhole on the other end - thought it might save yarn & frankly, I didn’t feel like doing it when it wasn’t needed to make it work.

I carefully watched & weighed my yarn consumption & managed to make it 30” long. Two grams left, yea!
