Since this yarn is bulky weight I added stitches to the provisional CO I used (64 stitches), resulting in the hood width of 21.5”.

For the turtleneck, I switched to the smaller needles, decreased 4 stitches & did 1 x 1 ribbing for 4”.

I came very close to frogging the whole thing when I was almost done. I noticed the I-cord edge pulled in a lot, making the face opening tighter than I wanted. I decided to finish & try to stretch the opening when blocking.
