Project 34B (second iteration of personal projects club).

I started out by casting on 222 stitches for the large size -- my husband is a large man, if not extra large -- but after remeasuring his 42.5” chest and reading about the possibility of the cotton-blend yarn growing a bit, I decided to go with negative ease and am making the medium size.

11/22/09: After splitting at the armholes, I raced through finishing in just a few days. Noel tried it on after I wove in the ends and it fit beautifully, just the right length but room to grow a bit, and fitted without being tight. I’m washing it and drying it to dampness, then I’ll block it; if it blocks to a little bigger I know it will be just the way he wants it, but it’s fine as is. What an absolutely lovely yarn, and what an absolutely delightful knit -- the pattern is impeccable!
