Notes

Errata: On both charts (A & B), the first three stitches of each wrong side row should be knit. The chart symbol is the little squiggle. On chart B, right-hand side (page 67), three bobble symbols are missing. Row 77 should have a bobble 2 stitches before the center stitch. Row 81 should have a bobble 4 stitches before the center stitch. And Row 85 should have a bobble 6 stitches before the center stitch.

I liked this pattern and it was a quick knit, though you have to enjoy bobbles to some degree as there are a LOT of them. I did find the charts to be a little excessive though. Both sides of the shawl are symmetrical, so I’m not sure it was necessary to chart both sides out.

I also had some trouble with this yarn. The first ball had five splices that broke the color repeat. In a shawl like this, it worked out just fine and is still a cool effect but if I wanted an even color repeat, I would be annoyed. The second ball of yarn had one splice that broke the color repeat and several places where the yarn was overspun too thin to safely knit. The end result was WAY too many ends to weave in when I should have only had 4.

Kauni Effektgarn Lace sold in small 50g balls, not the giant skeins listed on Ravelry.
