Echarpe Vitrial is the inspiration for this scarf. All yarn is from my stash. The kid silk mohair is variegated. I think it may be 400 yards. The color blocks used Madeline Tosh Unicorn Tails in 17 different colors. All colors blocks were precut and added to the mohair at set intervals.

When I ran out of the variegated mohair, then the creative juices kicked in. Located two colors of Rowan Kidsilk Haze (stash) that matched colors in the variegated yarn, and worked 2 rows of each color and began reducing the number of rows between the color blocks and omitting rows of mohair to give open spaces. I love asymmetic pieces and decided to just go with it.

Reduced distance between color blocks in the last 12” until only color blocks remained. Stacked 3 or 4 color blocks as fringe and then tied knots.

Finished size should be 12” x 48”.
