I have loved this scarf forever but was not ready to purchase the necessary amount of Koigu to make the project…enter Noro and designer, Sophie Digard. Once I saw the Noro yarns I knew it was time to start the project.

After reading the comments on Ravelry regarding the endless weaving of ends, I devised a way to eliminate the need to make separate shapes and connect later. I made my scarf in diagonal strips; all shapes were connected and no weaving in of ends except for the extreme edges of each strip. By working diagonally starting in the lower left corner and working toward the right top corner, each shape was connected at the corners. Once the second strip was started , I connected the long sections to the bottom center of the next shape. This worked perfectly and dispersed the colors as well. The circle fringe was added at the end.

Also made the shapes narrower (1”) due to the thinner yarn and the circles are about an inch in diameter.
