I don’t follow directions very well..

Like I knit hats, I did the decreases every round, for the monkey, just the last couple of decrease rounds. Plus I stopped the decreases at 8 stitches and ran the tail round through the loops twice.

I knit the mouth like a toe up sock toe
Start with red toe JMCO 9 each
9,11,13,x,15,x,17
Increase ER to 13 then EOR to 17 (34 all around)
Switch to cream just before increasing to 15.
5 rows total of cream (15,x,17,xx)

I knit the ears in the round.
Ears
CO 16, join…
3 rounds plain
(SSk,k4,k2tog)2
(SSk,k2,k2tog)2

Sorry, Ann, I just could not knit 4 bitty ears and seam them.
