I love Columbia wool, it’s one of my favorite breed-specific wools, very soft, lofty, nice to work with.

I modified this pattern by raising the neckline, widening the shoulder straps a bit, shortening the length, and eliminating the shaping. I also elected to repeat the cable design on the back, but without the bobbles. It turned out great, nice design, just what I was looking for.
