Increasing to 12 inch square

Round 10 - color A - HDC around, 3 HDC in corners
Round 11 - color C - HDC around, 3 HDC in corners
Round 12 - color A - (26 stitches) each side: 3 sc in corner, 3 sc, 1 long sc (down over the color C row), (2 sc , 1lsc) 6 times, 4 sc (you should be at the corner) repeat
Round 13 - color A - sc, 3 sc in corners
Round 14 - color B - sc, 3 sc in corners
Round 15 - color A - HDC, 3 HDC in corners

Round 16 - color B - (34 stitches) each side: 3 HDC in corner, 4 HDC, 2 dc together…the first one is around the color B stitch from round 14 second from corner (kind of backwards, do not count corner stitch) skip 3 stitches on round 14 and put the second half of the 2dc together around that one - it will make an upside down V. (Skip the stitch behind the 2dctog, HDC 5, 2dctog around stitches on round 14 - first one is one over from last V leg, skip 3 and put the second leg.) Repeat this across the side. You will have 5 of these 2dctog around stitches on round 14 on the side. HDC last 5 stitches of round 15 before corner. Repeat for all sides.

Round 17 - color A - HDC, 3 HDC in corner. If you want, on the HDC at the top of the V, HDC through the V to gather up any loops/looseness.

Round 18 - color C - DC, 3 DC in corners
Round 19 - color B - HDC, 3 HDC in corners
