7 colors

Color #1 – cast on 11
Knit 4 rows
Next row: knit 6 , wrap the next stitch, turn, knit the same 6 back to end

Wrapping: after the 6th stitch knitted, slip the next stitch purlwise to right needles. Bring yarn to other side (front – towards you). Slip the same stitch back to left needle. Turn work and prepare to knit the last stitch you knitted before the wrap.

Knit 3 rows on all 11 stitches.

Switch to color #2
Knit 5 rows
Next row: knit 6, wrap the next stitch, turn, knit those same 6 back to end
Knit 3 rows on all 11 stitches

Repeat that until you have used 6 colors.

MIDDLE COLOR

Knit 5 rows
Next row: knit 6 , wrap the next stitch, turn, knit the same 6 back to end
Knit 2 rows on all 11 stitches
Next row: knit 6 , wrap the next stitch, turn, knit the same 6 back to end
Knit 3 rows on all 11 stitches

Other side of the rainbow… works the same as the first side, just reverse the colors… start with color #6.

When you get back to color #1 after you knit the last 3 rows on all 11 stitches, bind off.
