Creating a HP afghan… I will be using parts and piece and inspiration from other patterns but it will be an original design.

Everyone keeps asking when this will be ready to purchase… here is the hold up. My mother had a massive brain bleed in 2016 and now has dementia. I am the primary caregiver. We are now in the process of adding on to my house to move her here. Once that happens… hopefully in the next 2 months, I will then work on getting my chart digitalized. Then I will contact Rowling and ask her if I can sell it (I have been told that she responds well to twitter communication.). After that… so maybe by the end of summer???? Don’t hold me to that, but I’ll try!

I have debated long and hard about publishing this. It is still only pencil and paper designed. I have not got it digitalized. The more I think about it, the more overwhelmed I get. I also then think that I really want my daughter to have a one of a kind afghan and not see HER afghan somewhere else.

So… I will probably digitalize it, but it may be slightly modified for other users.

UPDATE: people keep asking… no, it isn’t available yet… still not sure if it ever will be. That is a very hard decision to make. Part of me wants to but also part of me wants it to be a one of a kind. Thank you for your continued admiration.
