Loved Sarah’s watermelon sun hat and used it as a template, but used hdc in the first 4 rows, and created bobbles between herringbone hdc on rows 11 & 13 in green and plum.
On the edge of the brim, I slipstitched in green.
The large flower was made by chaining 2 and slip stitching between 12 dc on the 2nd row, and the leaf was crocheted directly on it. The 2nd leaf was simply a row of stitches that increased by size sc, hdc, dc, edc, tc, etc.
