I was going to knit the Morrison sweater in one of Rowan’s catalogues, but when I looked at the sizing, I knew even the smallest size would be too large on me, so I opted to design my own similar, but not the same, sweater. I chose an all-over basket weave with a modified drop shoulder in the same yarn for a perfect autumn vibe.

The yarn, which is usually lovely to work with, is damaged and fraying. Incredibly frustrating and making me doubt whether I want to work with Rowan yarn agian.

As always, the yarn stretches quite a bit when blocked. Holding double with a mohair solidifies it, but blocking was painstaking to keep it from stretching beyond the desired measurements.
