I saw thatamiya’s version of Mickey and I knew that I had to make one just like it for my 9 yr old. I made the same pattern in 2007 for Gwen - it was my first knit ever. :-)

I will use black for the MC and a rainbow of scrap yarn for the stripes. It will look MARVELOUS.

A) width of waistband is 2 inches
B) length of skirt is 14 inches
C) gauge is 3 stitches by 4 sts in 1 inch

Cast on 48 stitches.

Feb 17. I wish I had done a provisional cast-on. G is loving this and asks me to knit all day, every day so that she can wear it.

March 4. The yarn store is out of Charisma!!!! bad news.

Dec 28, 2015 - Finally finished. Gwen wore it on Christmas Eve (before blocking). She loves it!
