Not sure about the colour combo; however, it is for a 7 year old who likes things BRIGHT so I wool continue… groan. Hoping that this will be finished in time for Gwen to wear it at Easter.

Just in: my husband told me that the skirt is ugly. I kind of agree with him but I can’t stop now. Gwen likes it; I“m knitting on.

Day after Easter. Not done. I am about to Kitchener stitch the seams together and then I just have the waistband to do.

I picked up stitches for the waist and will be doing 2x2 rib and then regular bind-off. Hoping not to use elastic for the waistband.

As it turns out, I will need to use elastic but that’s not a problem. Second picture from the top was taken pre-blocking and pre-elastic; top picture - it’s finished! I think it looks awesome and “on-trend” with its proliferation of bright, fluorescent couleurs. Happy Spring!
