For added interest on the short side edges, I knit 2 repeats of the simple six row repeat Cloverleaf Eyelet Rib pattern from Barbara G. Walker Treasury. Couldn’t be simpler - knit a rectangle, fold in half the long way, and sew seam up part way from the bottom on each short side.
