I used cotton worsted, but threw the label away before noting the brand.

I made three of these. I added a few rows to the last two, because the first did not quite fit around my oven handle.

These were fairly easy to make, but in found working the large number of hdc around the magic ring was a bit awkward. One tip: Be careful not to pull the free end of the magic ring too tightly after slip stitching first hdc to last hdc, or the circle part of the hanger will twist on itself.
