Notes
  • My swatch grew width-wise 10% on blocking, the length did not change. Which was interesting. I had expected it to lengthen. The actual garment lengthened by about 5cm after blocking.
  • Progress is slow
  • Didn’t love the idea of the front and back being the same, so I made the back higher by starting the increases after 9 rows.
  • The armholes will seem huge. I worried about their size, but it works when you are finished. Phew!
  • The yarn really is wonderful to work with and blocks beautifully. The tweedy nubs would make seaming and any sewn bind-offs less fun, as you will have to yank to get the nubs through. (Though it’s super strong, so no worries about it breaking.)
