2011-01-22- finally remembered to take a picture of him wearing them. they fit perfect and look quite nice.
2011-01-14- done! need to block. he should be able to wear them for שבת
2011-01-13- six rows of ribbing complete. think i have 6-8 left. will have him test. would be really excited to finish this project!!
2011-01-12, 8pm- snowday meant no commute knitting. took my afternoon commute time and grafted and wove in all ends made to date. heels look pointy. hope that’ll come out in blocking. didn’t have this issue with other pair i’ve knit like this hmm. knitter error? (most likely)
2011-01-11, 7:30am- two inches remain. and end weaving. and heel kitchenering.
2011-01-10, 8pm- E tried them on again and he only wants them about 2.5 inches longer. WOO HOO!
2011-01-09, 8:30pm- drive to/from PA Farm show means that 3.5 inches of leg complete! hmm.. need to figure out how long it should be.
2011-01-08, 9:30pm- heel finished, leg opened, sock tried on… looks good. maybe i’ll kitchener the heel sooner than later. maybe not.
2011-01-05- we have leg lifelines! goal is to finish foot body this week and start leg before monday’s commute.
2011-01-02- lost count of how long i’ve been working on them but knitted quite a bit since we drove quite a bit. I might finish the foot-body before i want to poke my eyes out.
2010-12-28, pm- knit for another 45 minutes (total to date: 3.9 hours)
2010-12-28, am- commute FAIL (my toes were frozen) but gave myself 20 minutes to knit. yes, i’m trying to add up how long these take. why? i dunno. but I am curious and want them DONE.
2010-12-27- let’s try eli’s socks again. 2.75 hours = toes done. (66 stitches)
9.5 stitches per inch and 14 rounds per inch
