Lovely yarn with gorgeous drape. It’s a nice worsted weight that feels light. I might actually look forward to cooler weather when I can wear this!

On a personal note, I finished the sample on the 33rd anniversary of my father’s death from colon cancer and released the pattern on what would have been his 83rd birthday.

The loss of my mother-in-law to endometrial cancer at the end of August is still fresh and raw.

While advances have been made, this is still true:

Cancer sucks.

My caregiving hasn’t ended -- we’re working to assist my father-in-law’s complex (not-cancer) needs.
