Top down. 96 st.
12 x 8
16 x 6
24 x 4
(This is for increase rnds - to use 6, 8, 12, 16 or 24 increments. Till the width of the shoulders is reached, i’ll be following raglan increase rate = 4 st. for each row that is knit.)
Long tail cast on.
Did the beginning of “Hamilton Pussy Hat” with Latvian braid (and corrugated ribbing). The purl rows bef. and after the braid give the neck edge the right amount of sturdyness i think, hope.
Color dominance:
Want CC to be dominant, so I hold that one low, the light color high.
Also, Norwegian purl. Great for corrugated ribbing continental style.
Not following the pattern, kind of winging it and trying to understand what is happening in FO pictures that strike me for either good reasons or bad.

I’m doing 3x3
After 2nd stack (?), adding 16 stitches, so after every 6th st. a m1L. First one after the 4th st., so as not to have to m1 in a float.

Made two big “zauberballe” out of the enormous stash of donated mystery yarns. Each ball is always two yarns together.
I think i need two plain rows in between color stacks. Second in-between row is perfect for invisible increases. May look weird to start doing that now, after four rows of color stacks?
Well i can always frog.
December: not really my kind of colorwork, I find it a bit boring and fiddly. Have enough now for a little shoulder warmer, so casting off (on 3.75 mm).
There’s bound to be someone out there who’ll be pleased with this little thing. Hey you, yes you! It’s coming your way…
Hope to get better use out of this zauberball with a Tomten jacket.
