Cuffs 28 st. on 5 mm. ndl., 10 cm./4” high.

Must be fingerless mitts. Stopped incr. for thumb gusset at 11 st. Playing yarn chicken got a bit too nerve wrecking.
Might decr. hand with 1, instead of increase. Fingerless mitts must be snug.

Ran out of the mystery tweed. Used a few yards of lettlopi from the weatherman sweater & held it tog with some alpaca from 13 years ago. Tog they look a bit like the handspun that i used on the matching hat.
For the thumbs, three threads of alpaca.

On to one of the best parts: slow-weaving-in-ends while listening to Tim Mackie & Jon Collins’ BibleProject podcast.

Mouldy smell raised up from the shampoo bath. Added a few drops of rosemary essential oil to the rinse water.
