Two different dyelots and of course a small difference in color. Alternating between lot 1 and 2 over a few rounds (r 103-106) to prevent a very visible change in colors…
Lot #2 is now used up, and hopefully I have enough of lot #1 to finish this project…

Purl rounds done I did a wrap-and-turn and knitted these rounds from the wrong side (German W&T).
Ready to knit the outer border. Even if I look forward to do that, I think I need to pause this project for a while now…

Did the “set-up” for the outer border today. Used markers between every pattern repeats, which I very seldom do. The thought of tinking back to reknit that many sts to fix any mistakes isn’t very tempting. So, just in case…

It’s 14 chain sts in the loops, but I’m doing only 8 for the two loops in “the vally” between the scallops.
