8/9/12 So after putting this project down for many, many months, I’ve finally wrapped this baby up for the 2012 Ravellenics/Stash Dash 2012/Year of Projects 2012-2013. Its alllll about double-dipping people.

Speaking of doubles…double fisting yarn for stranding > interesting. My gauge is very different for each hand so if you look to close to my project you can tell that the dark blue was held in my right hand (my tighter gauge hand). No matter! It was a fun skill to master, albeit slow as shit, that resulted in super prettiness!

10/4 Finally had a chance to get some work done on this thing! Been working on getting my house ready so that I can move so I haven’t been knitting much. But! Today we had some organized corporate fun that required some carpooling. I made sure to sit in the back of the minivan and got some knitting done! I actually managed to get some two fisted fair isle going even while I was talking! Look at me!

9/23 Tinking fair isle is a BITCH but I’m assuming a necessary evil during your first project of this kind. Its only 100 stitches to unknit…

9/21 Two-fisted fair isle!!! The tension is looking a little hmmm-ish but we’ll see. In general though its looking pretty cool.

Mods: CO with CC as the ‘long tail’ for a contrasting band while holding MC as the other strand. No corrugated rib for this project - saving learning that technique for Paper Dolls. Got contrasting band idea from katherinelynn04’s Op Top.
