Notes

this yarn was a long patterned scarf first, but the patterns were really wasted. so i crocheted it directly from frogging it while watching “house MD” and i am much, much happier with it.

the stitch pattern is from a japanese stitch collection, i worked out how to make a triangle myself.

the yarn is so grippy that it holds together with a simple overhand knot; perfect for tieing it behind my neck like a large bandanna on bad hair days. i love wearing it; it’s light and airy.

i am unfortunately completely unhappy with the colours -- noro usually manages to make some lovely colourways, but IMO they have totally failed with sekku. in the skein the yarn looked like it’d be mostly light green to turquoise with brown, but the pastel pink, bright red, and magenta bite each other, and it doesn’t help that i hate magenta to begin with. i’ve since looked at the other colourways and there isn’t a single one i like. :/
