i didn’t grok the moebius cast-on from the book, but luckily, before proceeding with the first row of knitting i searched the intertubes for verification and found cat’s demo on youtube, which set me straight. after that this was a cakewalk. and she’s right, it’s the fastest cast-on ever. the first row is alas the slowest knit ever to balance that, wry grin.

i’ll be making more of these, that’s for sure. the pattern is straight-forward knit, in alternating variable stripes of the thick merino bamboo yarn with the thin and airy mohair. the whole scarf is very light, and wraps around my neck three times.
