i started knitting this, but the long drop stitch pattern was driving me nuts on circs, and i don’t have longs in the right size, so i decided to crochet something i’m making up while marathoning stargate SG-1 (now near the end of season 6). the yarn has a lovely hand, and i am trying out a lot of openwork patterns. the colourway started out great, but isn’t overall particularly to my liking, since unfortunately noro almost always puts colours i can’t stand into their colourways (the magenta and red really bite each other in this case). oh well.

2010-06-25 frogged. the different patterns were just wasted on the yarn. i frogged it while making a headscarf with a pattern that works much better.
