New travel project - I have 2 flights and a 12 hour road trip ahead of me this week.

I scored 2 bags, about 10 skeins of some wool sock yarn at the thrift store, yes!

7/11 - Well I had it worked past the heel but then noticed several things. My row gauge was wayy off, even compensating with extra repeats it was still too short when I tired it on. Also, I managed to set up the heel off somehow, so it was perfectly centered.

Then I also read how several people preferred a solid foot bottom and so I decided to rip all the way back to the toe.
I switched to US 3 needles and increased 4 sts on the bottom half of the foot to make up for the lace of lace stretch there.

8/5/11 1st stockting done!

9/14/11 Finally turned the heel for the second sock after a little 2nd sock syndrome.

12/1/11 Finished! Wearing them today and total <3
