Very, very cute! Made some slight changes to the legs to make the foot less pronounced - notes below. I used magic loop.
This is actually a very quick knit, I just did it in lots of short sessions so it took me a while, and I knitted the legs over again.
Only slightly weird bit is the swirl between his legs, but I guess every bear’s gotta have one…
My version of Henri’s legs
CO3
Row 1: kfb around, arrange evenly over 3 dpns or magic loop (6)
Row 2: k1, (kfb) x 5 (11)
Place stitch marker to indicate start of round (I didn’t put a marker actually on the needle, just put a safety pin in row 1 or 2 and left it there to show which side is the start.)
Rows 3-5: knit (11)
Row 6: k2, k2tog, k3, k2tog, k2 (9)
Row 7: k6, k2tog, k1 (8)
Stuff foot
Rows 8-20: knit (8)
When knitting 2nd leg, check length against the first one.
Stuff leg lightly.
Cut yarn, draw through remaining stitches, leave a long tail to sew leg to body.
Will definitely make again for imminent babies!
