There is a hole after finishing the heel short rows and resuming knitting in the round! How to get rid of this??

Here is another sock pattern I’m interested in trying, it has a mention of what they do to prevent the holes but it’s not a short row pattern. It does mention the method could be used for short row heels though?

Hmm, more thoughts on preventing holes in short row heels here. At bottom of tute it says to wrap the next non-heel st on the last short row.

Other people have suggested just picking up a st or two in the hole area and decreasing afterwards.

Note to self- I did 43 rows after finishing toe before starting heel.

I had 25g of yarn left afterwards. I guess that’s about 50m…
