14/7/12- Did first 9 rows on 7mm needles (instead of 6.5mm like pattern called for- I didn’t have any) and decided it was too wide- 21cm (8.3”). The pattern calls for 13.5cm (5.3”), so I’ll take out 4 stitches which is one repeat of the pattern.

21/7/12- Finished!
My finished scarf is 1.55 metres long (61 inches). I used 3 whole balls of yarn.
I managed to scare up some 6.5mm needles, so I used them. I took out 4 stitches of the pattern to lessen the width. The width of the scarf is 15.5cm (6 inches)- just right I think!

I enjoyed the diagonal pattern and think it’s a very interesting texture. And perfectly manly too!
