CO 18 sts by using Judy’s Magic Cast-On. Then I increased 4 sts on every row until I had 50 sts on the needles. I knitted 2 rows until I started the skull pattern.

The skull pattern is from Skull Isle Mittens (from the book Son of Stitc’n’Bitch).

For ribbing (k2, p2) I decreased the number of stitches from 50 to 48.

I used the after-thought thumb (8 sts) and it was placed between the skulls and the lower ornament section. I picked 6 more stitches and knitted 16 rows before I started the decreases (k2tog) in the beginning of every needle (I used 4 needles) until there’s total of 8 sts left.
