Separated for the sleeves (I’m doing size XL sleeves for more room). I already started with the left sleeve because I want the sleeve island to pass quickly.

Sleeves and the neckband are done. Now I just need to finish the body.

It is finished! I made my Ystävä a bit longer and I also made pockets. It just needs a good soak and pretty buttons.

This cardigan is so lovely! I can’t wait for chilly Autumn days when I can wear it as a coat!

After soaking, the sleeves grew about 8 cm but I can turn them if needed. And if they still feel too long, I can always rip back a bit and re-knit the ribbing. The body also grew a bit but that doesn’t matter at all.

The yarn softened slightly after the soak, but it still feels nice and crunchy, like a good wool cardigan should feel.

I could have done size M with size M sleeves instead of L with XL sleeves, and still have gotten a nice sized cardigan. But I like the loose fit I got this way, so I’m still happy about my choices.
